This project aims to provide further validation of the novel JK Dense Medium and size classifying cyclones. The novel cyclone development at the JKMRC moved to the industrial study stage with three industrial studies being conducted in 2003-4.

Issues with trial cyclone manufacture and trial parameters have necessitated further studies to compare the performance of the JK cyclones with commercial cyclones. This project is expected to demonstrate the economic advantages achievable with the novel JK cyclones.
